Animal Welfare
We Care for Every Cow.
Healthy, comfortable, well-nourished cows are the foundation of quality milk. Animal welfare is not a policy at KMilk — it is a daily practice.
Nutrition & Feed
Every cow receives a balanced diet planned for their age, weight and lactation stage. We use quality forage, silage, mineral supplements and ensure constant access to clean, fresh water.
Comfortable Housing
Our cattle housing is designed for comfort — adequate space, clean bedding, good ventilation and protection from extreme weather. Comfortable cows are healthier and produce better milk.
Veterinary Care
Our veterinary team conducts regular health checks and preventive care programmes. We act promptly when any animal shows signs of illness, and maintain detailed health records for every cow.
Clean Milking
Milking is carried out hygienically with trained staff and clean equipment. We follow strict pre- and post-milking protocols to protect both animal health and milk quality.
Calf Care
Calves receive colostrum immediately after birth and are monitored closely in their early weeks. Proper calf care today means healthy, productive cows tomorrow.
Responsible Handling
Our farm staff are trained in low-stress animal handling. We do not use practices that cause unnecessary discomfort, fear or pain. Respectful handling is a standard, not an exception.
Our Commitment
We do not make claims we cannot support. Our animal welfare practices are built on daily observation, veterinary guidance and a genuine commitment to the animals in our care. We will continue to improve as knowledge and resources allow.
